Disciples Needed...

...are needed for the "Last Supper" dramatic worship to be held on Maundy Thursday, April1. We are about half way through filling the cast positions. Please contact Pastor Doug if you would be willing to participate. The first practice was February 21, but it is not too late to get involved.

Fun and Fellowship News

February 28th - Breakfast Fund Raiser for Camp Alta Mons Retreat. Breakfast is available from 8:15 to 10:30 AM in the Family Life Center. Cost is Adults: $4.00, Children (4-12): $2.00, Children (3 & Under): Free. Maximum charge per family: $15.00.

March 7th - Family Bowling at Lee-Hi Lanes in Salem, VA at 3:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to come and meet at the lanes. The cost is $6.00 per person and includes 2 games and shoes. Contact Gayle Ross at 473-2437 or rossdgjdd@directtv.net.

Youth News

The Youth Mission Team will be headed to Worton, MS June 27 - July 3 this year. We have 17 of 18 spots filled! The youth will be fund raising over the next few months to help cover costs. However, if you may make a special donation by marking your check memo for Youth Mission.

Help Wanted - Sunday School Teacher

Adult with mature faith and a love for children to be a part of the children's department rotation. Every other month, each teacher has one responsibility per Sunday, either activity (arts/crafts, drama, puppets, etc.) or story/prayer/lesson. The children rotate through so that each teacher works with two groups of children per Sunday. Clothing Closet Needs Your Old Clothes

The Clothing Closet is a ministry of the church dedicated to helping those local families in need. We are in need of clothes, especially girls toddler thorugh teen, as well as teen boys also.
