Adult Ministry Mary Ruth Class - Curriculum based class that applies the Bible to everyday life. Meets at the Family Life Center. Genesis Class - This class works its way through each of the books of the Bible. Also meets at the Family Life Center. Joe Johnson Class - This class is focused for those that consider themselves seniors. Meets at the Church behind the Sanctuary. New Beginnings Class - Focuses on faith and the Bible for those that consider themselves beginners in their journey with Christ. Abundant Life Class - Focuses on issues related to the lives of younger adults, typically those with school age children. Meets in the main building, basement classroom. United Methodist Women - Meet the third Tuesday of each month to address missions and concerns of the church and community. United Methodist Men - A new opportunity for men to fellowship and serve. Tuesday Morning Bible Study - For all ages at 10 am each Tuesday during the school year. Meets at the Family Life Center. Music/Choir - All you need is a desire to make music. The choir meets each Wednesday at 7:30 pm from September to May. Special Programs for Christmas and Easter. Children and Youth Ministry Sunday School Classes: Nursery - Up to Kindergarten Crusaders - K - 2nd Grade Faithful Followers - Grades 3 - 5 Youth Classes - Middle School and Senior High Children's Church - Time for children to praise God and have some fun. Held during the 11:00 am worship service for those 8 years old and younger. United Methodist Youth - We have two active youth fellowships. The Middle School group serves grades 6 - 8 and the Senior High group serves grades 9 - 12. Middle Schoolers meet monthly in the summer and thorughout the year at ToW. Senior Highs meet twice monthly, usually on Sunday. | Community and Outreach Ministry Back to School - Clothing, shoes, backpacks and school supplies for in-need children identified in our local community. Clothing Closet - Clothing for those in need for children, youth and adults in the local community. Mission Work - We support and are involved in Mission Work with our Youth Groups, District Volunteers in Mission, Relay for Life, our Clothing Closet, Pastor's Discretionary Fund and many, many other ways. Fincastle Community Preschool - Though a separate entity, Fincastle United Methodist has provided support for the school in a variety of ways for a number of years.
